Amanda is a native Texan with a huge passion for the arts. She has over 20 years of experience in non-profit arts management working at ZACH Theatre. In her most recent role as Director of Facility Operations and Patron Services at ZACH Theatre, she managed a $1.5m budget that included three state of the art theatres and was responsible for all of the Front of House Sales. Prior to that she directed all ticket campaigns for over 125k patrons annually, Amanda hails from Houston where she attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts majoring in Theatre, after which she moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas’ School of Communications. Theatre is in Amanda’s blood and was her first love. She began studying and performing at the young age of six.
Once settled in her career, Amanda began searching for a way to enrich her life by giving back. In 2008, she became active with Team In Training. Amanda found her experiences with TNT and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society to be some of her most rewarding experiences. For Amanda, LLS became the perfect opportunity to be an active participant while mentoring others and giving back to her community. Amanda was one of the top fundraisers in the country in 2008, 2010 and 2011. She served as an active
LLS board member since 2012. In addition to LLS, she is an active volunteer for Animal Trustees of Austin, BCRC and English Springer Rescue America, Inc.
