Austin locals Adrienne Bosh and Charles Attal join the nonprofit’s Board leadership to support arts across Texas
AUSTIN, TX [MARCH 25, 2025] – The Texas Cultural Trust (TXCT), a statewide nonprofit committed to bolstering support and awareness for the arts and spotlighting artistic excellence, has announced the appointment of two Austin community leaders— Adrienne Bosh and Charles Attal—to its Board of Directors.
The Trust’s Board of Directors is a dynamic and diverse group of passionate individuals who share a commitment to supporting the arts and culture sector and raising awareness about the many benefits it brings to Texas communities, as outlined in the Trust’s recent 2025 State of the Arts Report. The Board—comprised of business leaders, arts patrons, and artists—all play a vital role in the Trust’s strategic direction. Together with the Trust team, they serve as ambassadors for championing the arts and culture industries in Texas.
“We are thrilled to welcome Adrienne Bosh and Charles Attal to the Trust Board of Directors,” says Heidi Marquez Smith, CEO of the Texas Cultural Trust. “They are respected leaders within their communities, the state, and beyond and share a deep passion for the value of the arts—their respective experiences will further our mission to advance arts education, access, and advocacy throughout Texas.”
“Adrienne and Charles will be incredibly valuable assets to our Board,” says Texas Cultural Trust Board Chair Mickey Klein. “Their unique perspectives and expertise will help strengthen our ongoing work to champion the arts, ensuring that Texas’ rich culture continues to thrive for years to come.”
Adrienne Bosh is a dedicated wife and mother of five, renowned for her commitment to community service and empowering those around her. Beyond her family commitments, Adrienne is deeply involved in philanthropic efforts, particularly in promoting women’s maternal health. She is a Founder’s Circle member of Every Mother Counts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to maternal health, for which she has run in three marathon races to raise funds and awareness for mothers in need. In addition to her advocacy for maternal health, Adrienne has shown a steadfast dedication to the arts. For the past three years, she has been an integral part of The Contemporary Austin where she co-chaired Very Rary in 2023 and 2024. Her contributions to the organization demonstrate her passion for making art accessible and woven into the fabric of the community. Adrienne is also a published author in the book Arrival Stories and describes herself as a “Dream Weaver” who aims to inspire. She is eager to bring her unique perspective and expertise to the Texas Cultural Trust Board, where she hopes to continue making a significant impact.
“I am truly honored to join the Board of Directors of the Texas Cultural Trust. As someone deeply passionate about the arts and community engagement, I am excited to contribute to an organization that champions artistic excellence and makes the arts accessible to everyone across Texas,” says Adrienne Bosh. “I look forward to working alongside such a talented and dedicated group of individuals to help elevate the arts, enrich education, and inspire future generations to embrace creativity in all its forms.”
Charles Attal leads all talent booking and concert promotion for C3 Presents, as well as the global talent strategy and talent buying for the Live Nation International booking team. With his C3 partner Charlie Walker, he also oversees a growing Artist Management division, a new publishing joint venture with Warner Chappell, and a newly formed C3 Records. In his hometown of Austin, TX, Attal has played an integral role in the launch of two brand new venue projects—the Moody Amphitheater, a new outdoor music and performing arts venue, and the Moody Center, a world-class arena on the University of Texas campus that will be home to Texas Men’s and Women’s basketball games, graduations, concerts, and other events. Charles has received the Pollstar Bill Graham Award for Promoter of the Year three times and was recognized as Billboard’s Top Independent Promoter from 2010-2014. During his 30-year career in music, he has developed long-lasting, professional relationships with top-tier artists, managers, and talent agencies across the globe, and is a crucial part of the team in all talent relations, live event development and strategy, and festival activations.
“Throughout my career in the arts and entertainment industry, I have seen firsthand how the arts bring people together, and I am proud to join an organization that recognizes and amplifies that impact,” says Charles Attal. “As a Texas Cultural Trust Board Member, I look forward to serving my fellow Texans in advancing the arts and cultural landscape to better our communities and enhance our quality of life.”
