Ashley Caras

Ashley Caras joins the Texas Cultural Trust as a Development and Events Assistant, bringing her passion for community engagement and the arts. Having grown up in Austin, Ashley developed a deep appreciation for the arts through her engagement with a variety of visual and performing mediums. With several years of experience in nonprofit organizations focused on education and advocacy, Ashley has gained expertise in event planning, partnership development, and community outreach. Her work has helped these organizations secure critical funding and build strong, lasting relationships with community members. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she was an active member of her university’s pottery studio. Now back in her hometown, she is excited to support the Trust’s programs and events, advancing its mission to expand access to the arts across Texas.
