Houston Ballet

Founded in the late 1950s, the Houston Ballet has evolved into a company of fifty-five dancers, making it the fourth largest ballet company in the United States.

With the addition of The Houston Ballet Center for Dance, a multi-million dollar expansion opened in April 2011, the Ballet now provides dance education to more than 20,500 Houston-area students.

The company has toured extensively internationally, and Houston Ballet students have received numerous honors for their work.
