James Surls

A former Southern Methodist University professor, sculptor James Surls is known for his large-scale works, which have been displayed at the Dallas Museum of Art, The University of Houston, The Lawndale Alternative Space in Houston and other notable institutions throughout the nation.

A book of his work titled James Surls: From the Heartland was published by The Grace Museum in Abilene, Texas.
