Show Producer

Rod Caspers served as the Director of University Events at The University of Texas at Austin and as the Executive Director of Creative Services for The University of Texas System, where he received five Lone Star Emmy Awards for creating and producing the PBS series, State of Tomorrow.  Numerous directing credits include Merrily We Roll Along, The Secret Garden, Honk!, Ah, Wilderness!, The Rivers and Ravines and The Bat (a new opera adaption of Die Fledermaus). Rod conducts directing/curriculum workshops throughout the country and was a guest artist for the Facing History and Ourselves program in Switzerland and the Czech Republic.  Stage managing credits include the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and Jim Henson’s Musical World at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops, The Muppets and the casts of Sesame Street and Avenue Q. Rod staged the original production of Conspirare’s Considering Matthew Shepard and recently co-directed the NYC production at Trinity Wall Street.
