Arts Inspire Grants

Supporting Arts Education Access

Every child deserves to be inspired by the wonder and creativity that arts experiences provide. The Arts Inspire Grants support arts programming in Title I schools. This grant is designed to assist with financial barriers for Title 1 campuses to provide students with the opportunity to interact with professional arts and experience the arts from a new perspective. Arts Inspire Grants can be utilized for:

  • Field trips to professional arts experiences in the visual arts, dance, music, and theatre, including:
    • Transportation fees
    • Admission fees
  • Artist honorarium fees for professional artist visits to school campuses

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must represent a Texas public school, be under contract with Title I campus, and TEA-certified as an arts educator. Priority is given to teachers serving rural, low arts access areas.
