Margaret McDermott

Margaret McDermott is a civic leader, philanthropist, patron of the arts and educational champion long committed to making her community a better place. In 1955, she and her late husband Eugene McDermott, co-founder of Texas Instruments, established The McDermott Foundation, which has given millions of dollars in support of educational, cultural, social, and other civic ventures. Mrs. McDermott will celebrate her 103rd birthday in February.
