Danielle Yoon

Danielle Yoon (Music-Cello) is a 10th grader at Independence High School in Frisco. Currently studying under Ko Iwasaki, Danielle is associate principal of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, and co-president of Chamber Music International Youth Ambassadors. She has received awards from numerous competitions such as the Music Teachers National Association, the Juanita Miller Concerto Competition, and the National Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Music Institute Solo Competition. A 2022 YoungArts award recipient, Danielle will spend the summer as a member of the National Youth Orchestra. Danielle will use her Young Masters award to study at the Encore Chamber Music Institute Summer Academy.
