Jesse Dominguez, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Jesse graduated in 1992 from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. He earned his Certified Public Accountant license in 1996. In 1997, he became the CFO of the Texas Trucking Association (TXTA) where he served in a full-time capacity until February 2018 when he moved to fractional CFO. Jesse is also a member of the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE).
In March 2011, Jesse joined JHL Consulting Group as its fractional CFO as well. He has instituted many of the controls and processes that he has successfully implemented at TXTA to ensure the financial health and stability of this dynamic public affairs and event planning company.
Additionally, Jesse operates an independent tax and consulting practice where he assists families and business owners with their tax, budgeting, and financial planning needs. In 2017, he added fractional CFO services to his book of business. He provides CFO services to the Texas Cultural Trust, an influential non-profit organization dedicated to arts education in Texas, J&C J&C Commercial Services, an Austin-based commercial cleaning company, Falcon Point Roofing, a Round Rock-based roofing company, and several other independent business owners.
Jesse’s service to the accounting industry includes over a dozen years volunteering on the board of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) including serving for several years on the executive board.
Jesse has received numerous awards in the Austin Chapter including Young CPA of the Year and the Presidents Service Award. He also received the TSCPA Young CPA of the Year Award in 2009.
On a personal note, Jesse has been married to his beautiful and supporting wife, Laura for 30 years and has a 25-year-old daughter, Corina. He currently serves as treasurer of his church and has done so since 2002.
When he is not working or volunteering, Jesse enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, swimming, golf, baseball, ziplining, whitewater rafting and live theatre.
