Natalie Hampton

Natalie Hampton (Literary Arts) is an 11th grader in the Creative Writing Department at Houston’s Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She is a 2022 YoungArts Finalist in Creative Nonfiction and a Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Gold Medalist. Natalie has honed her craft at the Sewanee Young Writers’ Conference and the Ellipsis Writing Program. During summer 2021, she studied poetry through the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio. Natalie plans to use her Young Masters award to study at the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio in the general creative non-fiction track, where she will explore fiction, poetry, and personal essay writing.
