Shelby Sanders

Shelby Sanders was born and raised in Austin, developing a deep appreciation for the arts from an early age. She earned her B.A. from Texas State University, majoring in art history with a minor in mass communication, and developed a particular interest in modern art, including surrealism and abstract expressionism. Shelby joined the Texas Cultural Trust as an intern in 2019 and has been with the organization for seven years. She is passionate about making art accessible to all and highlighting the vital role the arts play in our lives, while also bringing a deep understanding of the Trust’s operations and a commitment to fostering meaningful relationships with donors and members.
