Tagged as “spectacular” by The New York Times, “awesome” by NPR, and “outstanding” by The New Yorker, Nicholas Rodriguez fuses his love of theatre with the music of jazz, blues, folk and pop on his debut solo album, “The First Time…” Nicholas is perhaps best known as Nick Chavez on ABC’s One Life to Live (GLAAD Award). He had the pleasure of debuting BOTH of his solo shows at the Forestburgh Playhouse Tavern. Broadway/National Tour: Tarzan^®,, The Sound of Music (Captain Von Trapp) directed by Jack O’ Brien. He’s been lauded at Arena Stage for his Helen Hayes Award winning performance as Curly in Oklahoma!
