Grants

Texas Women for the Arts has awarded more than $2.4 million in grants to 207 arts education programs statewide benefiting more than a million children across the state.

The mission of Texas Women for the Arts is to awaken and nurture the artist in every Texas child.

The TWA Grants support arts and arts education programs for children. The 2019 Grant is now closed. The next cycle of applications will open on October 1, 2019, and closes December 1, 2019.

Applicants must be invited to apply by a sponsoring member of Texas Women for the Arts. TWA members may only sponsor ONE application. The Texas Cultural Trust nor Texas Commission on the Arts will assign TWA member sponsors to applications.

Organizations are eligible for funding for no more than two (2) consecutive years. Applicants may reapply after a period of one (1) year.

The program must reflect the mission of Texas Women for the Arts, as stated above.
